Colchester General Hospital – September 2014

Colchester General Hospital opened in 1984. It has just under 600 inpatient beds, 44 maternity beds (including at Clacton and Harwich hospitals) and 12 critical care beds.

Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust provides healthcare services to around 370,000 people from Colchester and the surrounding area of north-east Essex.

Eco Control Systems engineers designed, manufactured and tested new control panels for the new delivery suite at the hospital. These were then successfully installed by our qualified electricians. The new panels give the hospital estates team better control of energy use, enabling savings to be made. The project took four months to complete at a total cost of £23,000.
